Once a consumer has won his/her case in consumer forum (court), sometimes the OP (opposite party) does not care to respond to the order, and does not pay up the ordered amount to complaint filer.  You have won the case and got order for OP to pay up, but it seems the OP is unaware of least bothered to follow order of the court. Since yesterday, the DTH signal went down and has been down for 24 hours now.   Yesterday night I couldn’t contact their paid customer service number, in fact it connected and immediately disconnected me 3 times thereby charging Rs 1 each time, and later when I tried again I was kept on hold for 5 minutes.  The initial IVR response itself said that there is problem in Tata Sky service, probably to avoid people asking about it. For last few months, I have been seeing problems whenever I try to login to ICICI online banking. Every time, it gives the error as wrong password 2 times, but after calling up customer care and trying logging in on 3rd try, it works!  The customer service people always say that it is to do with server maintenance which may happen anytime during the day.  Their solution is to try logging in after some time, presumably by when the server maintenance will be over.  They also suggested using Internet Explorer rather than Chrome browser.  That led me to go backRead More…

For the last few years I have been renewing the fire insurance policy on my house with Bajaj Allianz.  It seems to me that fire insurance is probably a low margin business and gets very low attention from the insurers.  Unlike car insurance, where the insurance companies themselves vie with one another to send you email offers, and one can renew it online easily; nothing of the same happens with fire insurance.
