MPs recently were seen trying to teach a thing or two in motivation to Indian cricket team coach Greg Chappel. Nothing stirs the masses more than proclamation about love of cricket and country, or so they thought.
Chappel’s rejoinder would have left any politician squirming for cover. But it is here that the MPs did not get the support they thought they would from public. They probably forgot that the public did not want to yield the role of official chestbeaters to them as yet. After all, politicians were never seen crying over poor performance in other sports or olympics, so what’s special now? If getting a few brownie points was their aim, they didn’t get any.
